Ross helped us find and recruit our current Financial Controller and I have no hesitation in recommending him and Accountancy Connect. 

Following an initial meeting to discuss the vacancy and the specific experience I needed for the role; a shortlist was presented, and I selected three candidates to interview. Following this, Ross found another candidate whilst the interview process was underway who sounded ideal, so we scheduled her in for an interview and ended up offering her the role. I appreciated his ongoing efforts which resulted in me finding the best candidate for the vacancy.

Ross assisted our search for a new Financial Accountant and found the selected candidate after a long-drawn-out process. 

We had initially advertised the vacancy ourselves and then engaged an agency to assist, but after 4 weeks we hadn’t found the experience, we needed. We decided to work with other agencies which is when Ross and I met to discuss the role and the challenges we had finding the right person. 

He was honest about the market conditions and why we were struggling to find candidates, but also offered some guidance on what we could do to find options which we otherwise wouldn’t have considered. Ross found two candidates for us to meet with and we decided to make an offer to one of them.

We have used Accountancy Connect to find payrollers on a number of occasions now and I am happy to recommend. We have an internal recruitment team who are very good at finding candidates for our common vacancies however they seem to struggle with our payroll team. 

I contact Ross when our recruitment team have run out of options and ask him to find more options. He never sends lots of CVs but the ones he does send are always worth meeting and usual end up being successful.

Ross helped me to find our current Financial Controller. 

We needed to find a replacement for our Financial Controller who had been with the business for 14 years. Ross met with us and then followed up with a shortlist of suitable candidates with the construction experience that we had requested. 

After meeting with 4 candidates, we decided to offer our first choice who accepted. All in all, it was a relatively painless experience which was nice because it had been so long since we last recruited for this role in our business.
